Payroll Analyst

We’re looking for an exceptional team player who will handle for our day-to-day, internal payroll operations. Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

Preparing and processing our multi-state, semi-monthly and bi-weekly payrolls for over 450+ exempt and nonexempt employees as well as the calculation and distribution of termination checks.
Responding to internal payroll inquiries in a timely manner and assist with any relevant payroll related reporting requests.
Collaborate with our HR team to get necessary information required for payroll processing and help resolve any benefit deduction related discrepancies.
Assist with month-end close journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
Provide support for annual 401(k), worker’s comp and financial statement audits.
Review of quarterly and year-end payroll tax reporting.
Help develop and fine tune internal payroll procedures to help maintain proper internal controls and ensure payroll accuracy.
Perform other duties and assignments within the Finance & Business Operations department on an ad hoc basis.
Here’s what we're looking for:

2+ year of experience payroll processing at companies with over 400+ employees.
Can provide the highest level of customer service to our employees.
Critical thinking mindset and strong prioritization skills. Must be able to pivot focus and meet shifting deadlines.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and private information at all times.
Comfortable communicating in a very professional manner to employees at all levels of the org and has solid written communication skills.
Demonstrated intermediate skill level in Excel.
Ability to learn new business systems easily and is relatively tech savvy.
